Plus he has a track record in working with young players and developing them. So I'd expect to see a lot more of Esse and Emakhu, if not straight away.

Glad it’s sorted, just watched Edwards interview and then read he has got the job , I didn’t fancy any of the other candidates and never heard of him before the rumours started, came across well in the interview, welcome to Millwall .

just their actual skill & ability compared with most teams in the Championship

We all want our style of football to change and Edwards has a very difficult task deciding how, and at what pace, to introduce change. If he tries to implement change too quickly there’ll be many mistakes that could/will cost us games. If he takes a slow approach to change, our, often, unforgiving crowd could get on the team’s back.
So a testing period for manager and team and our fans must be patient and fully support them, even when things go wrong!
