He seems to have twigged that trying to play like Barcelona with this lot is not going to work.

He reckons he knew plenty about the squad before he took the job. What they could and couldn't do. I was hoping he already knew or would have after his first week. Have said if he can and isn't stubborn he needs to go back to basics. Lets hope he's not a principled purist. He's always worked with elite level players whatever the age. When he gets his first whack on the nut at Calmont road from a ball falling out of the sky and covered in bird shit he'll know it's time to tweak things a touch
