Will he get a starting place over Burke? Rowett might not play him knowing he's off anyway. I think Burkes a better player with more end product and experience at a decent level.

Can’t see it panning out well for Jed for the rest of the season now. He’s not going to want to pick up any injuries before getting a new contract, and if he’s not giving 100% every game then he’ll know about it.

He’s probably more likely to want to put himself in the shop window so he’ll have a better choice of suitors in the summer, better than Forest anyway.

He' 24, and made his pro debut 7 year ago, he;s a winger, don't take penalties or free kicks. There's no point in comapring him to Jed for goals who's had a free role in his time here. Jimmy Carter scored maybe 10/ 11 goals in his first stint for us, it don't make him a bad player does it? He's here for a short period and gives us a different dimension, if he has something to prove we can only benefit from that.

Firstly let’s all hope his career really takes off again at Millwall starting tonight. Secondly you are right that he’s played at a better level. However his two transfers to Leipzig & West Brom cost £28 million pounds and resulted in just two goals. If he was that good surely he should have been taking some penalties & free kicks (p.s. Shaun the sheep was still taking most of the free kicks in Jed’s first few seasons)

How many assists? He's not a striker mate, nor is it his fault that clubs pay over the odds more often than not ( unless we're the selling club). Wasn't Jed being touted about for £10- £15 million on here a few seasons back?
Depends on who the striker and regular penalty taker was i suppose.
He was until super Jed took over, i always thought Fergie was best at dead ball situations bur rarely got a look in.

There’s an earlier post in this thread that sums it up better than I can. We only bought Jed as a winger to knock a few crosses over, it’s not his fault everyone else was so shit that he had to cross the ball, make all the assists, score the goals & take all the free kicks and penalties not to mention having to run all over the pitch as well
