Afobe is a bang average Championship striker that’ll bag us 15/16 goals at most. Bradshaw similar.
If we really want to push for top six and possibly better, we still need that 25+ player that will only come from one of two places: - our youth set up or the lower leagues.
Don’t forget that we competed in a bang average championship last season.
Very good signings so far, but we really need that number 9 position filled by a natural goal scorer.

You can forget about a youth player coming through, there were 3 examples last week of why our top youngsters aren't going to play for our first team.
We are competing with 20+ other clubs for a lower league talent and if you agree that Twine was one last season, we don't have the 4m that Burnley paid for him.

Clubs who perhaps don’t want or need to sell one of their prized assets sometimes hike a player’s value up, as a deterrent to stop other clubs from buying said player. Or they set a price that they know they will be happy to sell, if push comes to shove (regardless of who that player actually is.)
Naturally, if a club like Burnley (who have relegation parachute payments of £140M to burn), want to start burning holes in those millions, then £4M for a highly rated league 1 midfielder with 20 goals to his name last season, isn’t going to deter them from getting him!
Twine is, at the very least a Championship level player, and even if he only gets half the number of goals that he did last season, that will still be a good rate of return for a midfielder who has just stepped up into a higher division, playing against better opposition defenders!
Lets hope he has two poor games against us, when we play them!
Forest managed to get promoted without a 25 goal striker, Luton finished in the play offs without one, he got 16. Only Fulham and Bournemouth scored a ridiculous amount of goals. We need to spread the goals around, Afobe getting 15 plus a few other players chipping in with 10-12 each would probably see us over the line for a play loff spot. We weren't that far off last season, just need to turn some of the draws into wins.

For promotion? I doubt it mate, not just from dropping a few points early on. We will drift but not by 15+ points.
Bradshaw was third in the championship from a shots versus goal ratio. 9 goals from only 16 starts. If Bradshaw stays fit and his partnership with Afobe gets better he could easily bang in 15 - 20. I personally like to see goals coming from all over the park and not reliant on one player. Blackburn were going great guns until Berrington-Diaz got crocked and the goals dried up.
This 20 goal a season nonsense doesn't bear up up. Only 7 players scored 20 league goals in the top two divisions, 3 of them for Championship teams that failed to make the play offs. No play off club had a 20 goal forward, neither did Man City won the prem and made the CL semi or Chelsea two Cup finals and CL place. Nor Arsenal, Man Utd or the vermin who all made Europe. Spread the goals and we'll be fine.

Very interesting to know.
If Afobe and Bradshaw can notch double figures each, plus Flemming and Honeyman chip in, the rest of the goals will hopefully come from Cooper/Hutch/Wallace and we'll be okay.
Be interesting to see if Tanto gets a shout this year, I hope so.

He has shown more loyalty than a certain Lovelace junior, so for that alone he deserves to be considered.
You're probably right mate but it really does depend on the teams ahead of us and what points they'e on plus all the mug punters skewing the market.
