Absolutely brilliant, brilliant performance from the players!
To a man they fought like roaring Lions and didn’t give Norwich an inch! MOM was every player that came on! Thoroughly deserved that, against a side that thought all they had to do was turn up and the 3 points were theirs.
If not for Gunn we could have won that 3-0, and it would have been an absolute travesty had Norwich got something out of that tonight!
That ref! We‘ve had some shockers this season but he is by far the worse one we’ve had - home and away! Up until the Cooper/Barnes incident (where Barnes should have been sent off), he wasn’t doing too badly, keeping his cards in his pocket! After that, he just lost the plot! Should have had a penalty when their player leaned in to knock the ball away! Why can’t these refs watch where the flight of the ball goes? Yes, it was a bad challenge from Sav, but that was never a sending off! And hadn’t Stacey already been booked before he cut Wallace down on the touchline? If so, he should have been shown a red!
The support was immense tonight and helped get the players over the line! That has got to have fired up the whole squad for the away trip against Bristol City on New Years Day!
