Test match off as well, not sure this is right, rather let people show their respect at these events.
Bugger. I"ll have some painting to do now instead.Called off.
Turnaround and come home..it's off.Still en route to Newcastle for the Sunderland game. Will drink to her Majesty anyway RIP YOUR MAJESTY
Just saw this on Twitter - possible train Refunds 6pm deadline - worth a try:Turnaround and come home..it's off.
agree. Thousands of people have made plans, spend tons of hard-earned. There is a reasonable respectful balance needed. This is not it. Why not close every boozer and diner?Test match off as well, not sure this is right, rather let people show their respect at these events.
It’s not the Government that wanted postponements it’s the football authorities. All Rugby matches are to go ahead tomorrow with appropriate minute silences etc. Extract from Govt guidelines “that there can be respectful continuation of sport at all levels this weekend.”50/60 years ago there would of been no doubt about everything closing and having 3? days of mourning but I do feel that now we can not only carry on with everyday life without being disrespectful but have such events as a way of coming together and showing our respect.
I would of liked to have seen at every game at 3pm tomorrow, a minute's silence followed by the national anthem as football's way of showing their respect.
Not that I would argue against what has been decided, it is more of a preference.
Will be interesting to see their reaction when they play their next home game, do the respectful thing and it will make them hypocrites.Probably worried about the Liverpool scum booing the 2 minutes silence
Don't forget some of the green and white shit north of the border.Probably worried about the Liverpool scum booing the 2 minutes silence
