I think he’s got all the ability, but can’t see him ever toughening up and putting in the graft when needed tracking back.
With our crowd on his back, he’ll have to toughen up quickly or he won’t make it! Similarly, if he puts a shift in and doesn’t go missing in vital games, our crowd will lift him and he’ll feel he can do anything on a football pitch, knowing the Millwall faithful are right behind him!

I thought he flattered to deceive. He's obviously a talented player, but he has yet to reach his potential with anyone. We've had plenty of players like that of late. I'd rather we go down the young and hungry route.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Marks considered the better prospect?
Ted came back a different player after being shipped out to Aldershot.
Marks was let go a Free but called back when George Graham left and we had a depleted squad. Teddy was a year or two older and regarded as a real prospect playing at many different England Youth levels.

He had a few really good games for Millwall before our 84/85 promotion season, he struggled at Aldershot, his loan spell in Sweden did help him mature as footballer.
