Merson on Sky reckons we will be a handful this season and was a real statement by Millwall today.Thought Flemming wasn’t at the races (again) today!
If he’s not careful and doesn’t buck his ideas up, it could be Esse starting games as our No. 10!
Merson said the same.Completely disagree. He was excellent at times.
Few things are indisputable in football, but that is undeniable today.Credit where it’s due for that, a match winning decision.
That little glance spoke volumes. Lots of young players would have lost their heads there and just whacked the ball in. Credit for Esse for staying put and remaining in space rather than being drawn into the goal.Very impressive the coolness shown when Emakhu looked across and played the perfect ball to Esse for the goal, he looks very composed for a youngster, they both need to brush up on their defensive work if they are going to become great players.
If that was a premier league goal the media would be wetting themselves over that it.
The goal looks even better from this angle.
He certainly recognises it’s teamwork that counts
Yessss!!Isn't it great to sit and watch a match not panicking about the keeper every time the ball went near our box?
Excellent? He was the worst player on the pitch by a country mile. Also missed a few sitters.Completely disagree. He was excellent at times.
Very calm finish.Esse's finish...you literally cannot improve on it. Nothing he could have done better.
I think the cross was as good as the finish, kept a cool head and drilled it low giving the strikers a perfect connection, could have so easy sent in a high ball as we normally see.Very calm finish.
Superb.
Didn’t know the Berylson family was there, thought they were only going to be at our home match against Bristol City?Fitting performance, as the Berylson family were there.
