The ref gave a goal and I got an alert on my phone to confirm that.

Their player complained to the ref. The ref consulted with the lino and bobs your uncle. Either way it was deflected by cooper who was off side. Shame it was a great strike.

Big fuck up Coops who was obviously off side. He should have just left it. The keeper probably would’ve then saved it but it was coming at him at such pace I reckon he would’ve spilt it in to the packed penalty area

I don't think the lino even saw that Cooper had touched it.
No, there was something very fishy about it. The goal was disallowed too long after it was scored, plus, I got a message on my phone to say that the goal had been disallowed by VAR. Having previously received a message to say a goal had been scored.
Very, very strange.

Also, if the lino gives offside, you usually see them standing there with their flag out. Not so in this case.

The award of Coventry’s penalty against Watford was disgraceful. The Watford player had his arm against the side of his body and was trying to move it back

I’m sure if VAR had been in use it would have been overturned!

Justice was done, the penalty was saved

And the award of PNE’s penalty at Stoke was even worse . Another that would have been reversed if VAR was used!
