I also see that Southwark are making more roads permit holders only for parking. There were quite a few places across the borough that had no restrictions or charges but they're changing all that now. Amongst other things isn't good for small independent businesses that rely on passing trade where the customer can park briefly. There was a load of parking restrictions, accesss for residents only and road closures implemented down near east Dulwich station a year or so ago. Within 6 months of those changes our local cafe that had been there for 27 years shut down because they lost 60% of there trade overnight.Nightmare

I arrived there on my last trip.Shouldn’t complain but the walk from Bermondsey Underground to The Den is tedious
I didn't have a fucking clue which way to walk or which bus to catch.
Ended up on a bus that went past Fisher's ground. (I had often wondered where it was)
You are right about the long route. I didn't have a clue where we were until I saw Surrey Docks. I got off there.
I was New Cross boy, never ventured to Bermondsey as a boy.

Cheers, will walk especially as I think the bus goes down Asylum road, if it can get through. On the way back, no rush as I will have 1/2 hour to walk it.

Was a little bit of trouble on hawkestone Road with millwall trying to get at them. Is probably quicker to walk through southwark park if you know where to come out
