Taking home ends

Chelsea Gate 13 seats 85. E1Wall was there. Told me wall destroyed them.
Back then some of there boys was also stewards. I knew couple out of Stockwell who was heavily involved. They used to open a gate at the away end to let em come on the pitch and then start clumping them. East lower 13 and 14 and there benches was mainly firm. They were game back then but
i think over rated because they always had good numbers, could swamp smaller clubs and take the piss. They folded fairly quick on the kings road in 95 against us when many of us were expecting a tough evening.

I always thought they were overrated mate. Fucking detest them. Maybe cos nearly all my school was Chelsea. Exactly as you say they swamped places, like United but I wouldn't put them near United for quality. I was at the 95 turnout. Enjoyed it immensely.

I did see Pennant get completely ironed out back in the 80's by one of Chelseas main lot. Wall was away so about 15 of us ( all wall) went Chelsea v West ham with a Chelsea bod that we knew well from Walworth. Little black fella he was but as game as they come.

After the game Chelsea mobbed up near lotts road/ West ham show in the distance and head towards Chelsea. Bang off it goes. I see Gardner, the author and the bird man up the front taking a good hiding but not returning fire or budging. A few seconds later Cassandra was out cold on the deck. He lasted all of two minutes. Chelsea got the better of them that day.

Nice one P. 40 years undefeated eh?

i've been to every chelsea game against us i can remember 76 ( once there was a battle there) shit song , i was in the shed end only 25/30 millwall BW , DM under the bovril 3.00 millwall got sussed i remember hicky talking to BW they pushed millwall onto the dog track but never really followed, then the fence at the north stand comes down and millwall turned to go back , the first time i ever see horses galloping on the pitch and the stopped a riot, we ruined the after the game run them every where witch over the years became the norm, and my brothers chelsea.lol

Back in the day it was a bit of a thing to get in tge home end and stay for the whole game 2 that stick in my mind we’re tge park lane at spurs when it was there end and Pompey home end I also remember getting in the kop at Sheffield Wednesday and more than holding our own only to get forced out at half time by ob feel free to share experiences

Sheff Wednesday, was that the night game. Leppings Lane end was shut we was in the corner of their end, how did we get in there so easy? Two coaches of us. We done ok.
The Pompey game was me first visit to Fratton Park. First end you come to from the station. Pompey accept we was in there all game spoken to some of theirs at England games.
Millwall in the Shelf, was that the second division 77/78? Was there can’t remember Wall in the Shelf. Yids performed better at our gaff the Boxing Day game than over their gaff.

One game stands out in me head from the 70s, Luton Town. Again me first visit. I was a kid me and me two pals latched on to this mob of Wall. Next thing you know we are in their end. The small end where away fans now sit. Them days it was split into four sections. Wall in one section. Before kick off and during the game Wall kept trying to take Luton’s end. We could not shift them. Well known Wall bod who I didn’t know then but become pally with over the years got stabbed on them terraces. I was young then but first impressions and all that got to rate Luton. Lot of mobs would of melted.
And that game was on The Big Match the next day. I’m sure Brian Moore commented on the rucking.
Happy days.

My brother is too😐

Must have been my first away a Tuesday night at the valley, late 60’s I think, we won 2-0 I think and if was rocking. Remember we would take their end if we had a game postponed and they were home, it’s just what we did

Another interesting turnout andI wonder if anyone on here can shed light. United in the Shelf 70s but I don't remember exact season. We got battered by what I thought was Yids but hear later was Millwall doing a bit of tourism after a game was called off or something. My mate Cali was one of them. I put it to Yids on some board and they laughed at me. Said no way wall were there. You can see photos of the incident where some United went over the top of the Shelf.

I was in Lutons end that day. With
T. Kenward RIP and a load from Walworth, caused mayhem. I saw 2 of theirs getting stabbed by a fella from our flats.

December 2015 at The Pirelli Stadium must rate high in Millwall evilness.

The night we took Albion"s Curva Sud was, according to Staffordshire Police, 'a night of pure hatred.'

We mobbed up at the Hot Dog Van in the South Car Park.

Two Fat coppers tried to kettle us by the Gents lavatory, but they both ended up on their arses.

As the ref whistled the start of the match, the cry 'Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllll' went up - the locals scattered all over the terrace.

But, they soon regrouped when the realise there were only seven of us.

The eerie sound of walking frames being dragged over concrete, haunts me to this day.

A pensioner tried to head butt me, but missed and ended up with a whiplash injury.

Burton Youth tried to take up the fight, but sadly, they had to leave early, as it was a Home Work night.

We stood resolute in a sea of half eaten Pasties, meat pies and vacuum flasks.

The night will surely go down in the anals of Millwall.

No One Likes Us.

Fair enough mate. We've been involved in so many events that i get mudddled up with what was what at times. It will be good to hear Hermans take on it cause i'm pretty certain he was part of that infamous group.
We came out of the station and went in a pub in pink lane, They came roaring down the road we sent them running back again with there tails between there legs a few of them unconscious, About 100 or so of them 28 of us, In fairness they have never denied it.

That Chelsea game over there in 85 was mental, gate 13 and it’s inhabitants fled like rats as Millwall poured in on the concourse, another regular “end taking exhibition” late 60’s early 70’s was the manor ground Oxford, Millwall went in I’m told every time we played them, and they had a decent firm back then apparently..

I saw that! And it's true Oxford were decent. Also stood and outside and fought after.

Oxford away was a game eagerly looked forward to. Always kicked off there. The long walk from the station. The days when Ron Atkinson played for them.

Wimbledon away christ cant remember the year early 80s but bundles of arrest and no barriers and the same year i think it was at ours coach load of Swansea turned up in cold blow, got battered, escorted on the pitch to walk to away corner, wackas jumped out the seats on side and battered them again and before they got to the corner ilderton come over and gave it to them again funny as fuck
