Was it the Millwall 23? or less numbers that famously got into the home end at Newcastle and stuck it on them?
@The German Herman was present that day if i'm correct, hoppefully he can enlighten us a bit more.
Millwall in Chelseas seats in 85, my old man and his lot was part of that. That whole day was evil. First time i'd seen wall proper go to town. After the game i witnessed some of most viscious violence that i've ever seen at a game.
In uniteds seats in 88/89 where we held our own and contrary to uniteds spin on it.
Arsenal 88/89 i was with a group of Wackers that went in there North bank and let em know we were there. Proper hairy when it went off. Got out with a few bumps on me nut and marched back to the away end.
Remember a very brave group of Swansea coming in the CBL at the old place and announcing themselves. By the time they'd got to say sea they was rounded on and properly served up. Then as they went along the side of the pitch to get to the away end our boys in the seats set upon again.
Would have loved to bee old enough for the Harry Cripps testimonial. Remember my old man coming home covered in claret, sporting an ugly black eye and badly swollen and mangled right hand.
This should be a good thread as long as no one mentions the time five palace ultras ambushed us whilst armed with ballons and sharpened felt tip pens. They were like animals and hospitalised our top boy after drawing a cock on his forehead , popping balloons in face and doing him with one of the nastiest chinese burns you'll ever see.
Some of us still have nightmares to this day There's no worse sight than seeing Brian from accounts coming screaming at you, foam hand clinched and primed to unfurl an insulting and hurtful banner on you.
