The problem Woods faced was that Rowett played him as a defensive midfielder, when that wasn’t his position. He was more of an attacking midfielder but wasn’t always allowed to go as forward as he would have liked!

I seem to remember many on here thinking we’d have a good midfielder if only he was allowed to more forward more. Alas, that didn’t happen!
