Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

Surely you mean Stoatfix!
We could be onto something here, endless revenue streams for the Spotters. Stoatflix- live stoat porn from Rodent Valley, Stallkflix- Malcom the Spotter dresses up as postbox and secretly follows Danish Dave around Europe. H.I.M will flixit- Your excellency, aka his imperial majesty- buys a shit football club for a pound and turns it into the biggest Screwfix superstore store in London, specializing in mock waiting room furniture, shabby chic faux railway track and viewing towers for amatuer plane spotters.

Already sounds like a winner..!! You'll be buying a Football club next.

This one makes it all sound like it's some kind of Del Boy dodgy deal or, the Provident Man trying to collect his money on a Friday tea time...which is about right for those cunts.

"If as they say the documents are with RD and TS is taking over the original deal of TN and MS .I wonder because they missed the first payment instalement RD wants TS to pay that .Before signing it off and TS has said no".

How long before some builders or an arrogant DIY geezer lays out one of the 'Screwfix' protesters because they are in a hurry and can't wait the hour?
:hehe:

"The Screwfix protests equally will not bring about instant reform of the EFL or stop Screwfix sponsoring the EFL immediately. But they help to highlight the problem. It reminds people that they is a problem and that Charlton fans are willing to act.
When the fans did the second screwfix picket, the manager at the Greenhithe branch had been warned in advance, presumably by his head office, that something might happen".
I'm no specialist in protest, actually i know fuck all about protesting, but even a mere mortal like me would have turned up at the EFL's offices and got things off my chest. Fucking pitching up at Screwfix and upsetting a load of builders trying to go about a days work ain't the cleverest or most productive thing to do :grinning:

This quote has been one of Moody's points all along.

"Dear TS please just give Roland what he wants if you have the money. I no longer care if he makes miles more money than he deserves, I just want all connections with him severed and then we can move on. Life’s too bloody short for all this".

I think this post demonstrates the delusions over there...

I have said it before, but it’s almost like that tiny stint in the PL has ruined them... like the lad who dates a stunner as a teenager, and can’t get his head around the fact that that was a fluke.

They got uppity at Curbishley for ‘taking them as far as he could’... they hounded the family of an owner and the CEO in a different country because they wanted to run them sustainably, and unfortunately for Charlton that meant becoming a League One yo-yo club... because they only time more than 8,000 fans are willing to turn up at The Valley is if the tickets are free/very cheap, there’s a cheap bus to get on or they are playing their true love Arsenal.

That underlined sentence only makes sense if Charlton Athletic were a club that enjoyed more than half their history in the top flight. They can’t even best Wimbledon or Wigan Athletic for number of PL seasons... are armchair Sky Sports subscribers scratching their heads over where those giants are? In fact, even ‘Smallwall’ have had a far more successful decade than mighty Charlton!

Doesn't a Category One Academy cost £2 or £3m a year to run, thats as much or more than their League One Senior Player wage cap!

I have one message to Thomas Sandgaard. If you fail or succeed, you will still be a bloody hero in my eyes. A rare oasis in a desert of crooks and mad men! If you succeed, we can get this club to the top. If you fail, we have to dwell on what might have been. Maybe it is our lot not to have a great owner like you will be. We should all send him this message.
