Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

Some hilarious quotes from the highly rated up and coming managerial genius and all round nice chap ‘Lord’ Bowyer after last nights last minute capitulation by the plucky sleeping (former premiership in case you didn’t know) giants.

“There’s no way we should be competing to stay in this league, it should be done, we should be safe. We’ve created enough chances to win two flipping games tonight.”

“I don’t want to talk about Lyle. Lyle isn’t here. There’s no point in dwelling on that. If Lyle was here we would be safe, 100 percent. Lyle doesn’t miss those chances we’re creating. But he ain’t here, so there’s no point talking about Lyle.”

“Everything was good but we didn’t put the ball in the back of the net. It should have been done. Finished. That’s why we’re in this situation, because since we’ve come back we’ve missed too many chances.”

So there we have it, the bright young thing of English managers doesn’t want to blame or mention Lyle Taylor but spends most of the interview mentioning and blaming...............................Lyle Taylor.
The incredible Lyle Taylor scored a not so incredible 11 goals this season.

In 22 games....

He's useful.

By the way. Here's an interesting bit of information....

When he was rejected by Millwall, guess which club he joined and rescued his career.

Concord Rangers. Who was manager of Concord Rangers? Danny Cowley.

Who does Danny Cowley now manage? Huddersfield Town. Yes the same Huddersfield fighting Charlton to stay up.

And Taylor is refusing to play for `Charlton in their hour of need - possibly scoring goals that might send Huddersfield down.

All a total coincidence, of course. And I'm sure that Taylor will be heading to the Premier, not Huddersfield...

Cunt or genius? I’m going with cunt!

Make no mistake. They are up against it big time. Saturday they face free scoring Wigan who put eight past hapless Hull. They are desperate for a win as it could save them from the drop as they will get more than 12 points than the side third from bottom...which could be Charlton! Then on Wednesday they face Leeds at Elland Road who will be doing cartwheels as they will almost certainly have secured promotion to the land of milk and honey. They are unlikely to put out a reserve side and, on their day can play with flair and power and could certainly brush aside a Charlton side who are on the downward slope.
And then the Red Red Robin could go bob bob bobbin all the way to League One. Extra tissues for the plucky valiants and Lord Bowyer!

Think Hull will go down with Barnsley , Luton have made a good effort to stay up only losing once since the restart ,after Hull they play Blackburn who have nothing to play for ,what a exciting league Charlton are leaving .
Luton have two winnable games left (Hull & Blackburn), can see them escaping it on current form, while charlton face leeds on the final day (which could see them already promoted) doesn't bode well for our little friends in the ditch

We need Hull to have something to play for to keep them interested for their last game at Cardiff....Badly.

"Anyone else wonder if the EFL are slyly effing us over with the clearly inept referees as a way to get back at us for the ridiculous fartarsery surrounding our ownership?"

This is a good one:

"Best we have plated as an attacking force for a while, apart from the finishing".

A suggestion, maybe forget the plating?

It's now Forest's fault they are in the shit...

"I am spitting feathers here after watching that pathetic, lazy, bottling team of slackers utterly GIVE that game to Barnsley !
WTF were they doing !!! Clearly not trying to win . Hope they fail to make the play offs now. Credit to Barnsley but this was so one sided mainly IMO through lack of effort from Forest.
Unfeckinbelievable!"
