Jermaine Jenas was being interviewed on 5live this morning about a doc he is doing re racist abuse and how it affects his mental health.
However when asked what he thought about the Saudi take over of Newcastle he was all for it.
So it seems he gets triggered by words (granted they are illegal) but couldn’t give a flying one that women, gays and religious freedoms are systemically abused everyday in a kingdom that will likely be a new PL owner.

The premier league who sanction these takeovers, Sky and talksport will be wanking themselves into a frenzy when Newcastle spend hundreds of millions on superstar players. At the same time they'll be promoting BLM and various other inclusive causes and wanting life bans for fans that use racial/ homophobic abuse whilst ignoring the Saudi's human rights record.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you eh! Beheadings, lynching of Doris's, the use of slave labour from Africa and Asia and the stoning of women, fuck that, lets hound some football fans instead for singing a song that has upset some triggered cunt.

Very well put, Peckham. Absolute hypocrisy on the part of the EPL. Of course, the issue is that taking the knee costs nothing. Taking a real stand against a country like Saudi that gives the term medieval a bad name would cost money so we won't hear a word about it.

Saudi takeover of Newcastle close
A Saudi Arabian takeover of Newcastle United is close to being agreed and could be approved within 24 hours.

Premier League is all over this one. At the same time as approving this takeover, they're doing a deal to sell TV rights in the Middle East. Part of the deal is that Saudi Arabia has to stop broadcasting pirated footage of Premier League matches. So the Premier League is quids in. More TV money from Saudi and Middle East generally as a result of the takeover and no more illegal broadcasting of Premier League matches.
The takeover is also being given the go ahead because the takeover group is separate to the Saudi government. Like feck they are. As if you can become rich enough in a place like Saudi to put hundreds of millions into a foreign football club without being government approved. No doubt they're independent on paper but if they're independent in reality then Charlton will be in the Superleague next year.(Speaking of which, they're probably simultaneously green with envy at the Valley that this has happened but also totally confused as to why the Saudis didn't come to them first).
It's all bollox mate, Man city are funded by a state and you could say the same for those tramps in east London with there stadium being paid for by taxpayers. Money talks and bullshit walks!
