In fairness to Mowbray, recently they’ve averaged over 20 attempts at goal per game (albeit they only had 10 against us) but they’re lacking the finishing touch. Not sure what a manager can do about that.Sunderland sack head coach Mowbray

He didn't get them promoted, Alex Neil did. He took over when Neil left for Stoke. He got them promoted then into the playoffs, what do clubs expect?
Most sides in this league lack a 20 goal centre forward…Unbelievable- they looked a decent side but are lacking a central striker through injury and in August the board sold Ross Stewart for £10 mill over Mowbrays head who bought him for £300k in 2021 and he scored 48 goals for them and got them promoted - what do these chairmen want?
Mowbray seems to be a decent managerAm I the only one who thinks they weren’t a bad side?!
Think the Sunderland supporters are upset that they lack any recognised forward players in their team, having to mostly rely on Jack Clarke to score the goals for them!Am I the only one who thinks they weren’t a bad side?!
Seemed to always have the better of our managers over the years!Mowbray seems to be a decent manager
We certainly do. Really hoping Rab can kick on, he has talent in front of goal, we need to be better in feeding him the ball in and around the area. Most sides in this league lack a 20 goal centre forward…
I alluded to that earlier. Clearly, at present they’ve creating chances, just not putting them away. I’m not sure what a manager can do to improve thatAm I the only one who thinks they weren’t a bad side?!
