WOW!
What a 2nd half!
Two minutes into the 2nd half and Danny gets his 2nd. Then Barnsley pull one back with a dubious on side decision, before Burke, who had had a lively afternoon, got his first Millwall goal to make it 3 - 1! Afobe, who had had a quiet afternoon, finally got a goal, and we ended up winning 4 - 1!
The only slight criticism I have of the game is that Rowett should have brought Bradshaw on instead of Ojo, particularly as the loanee didn’t do anything when he replaced Burke! We all know that Bradshaw needs more game time, and at 3 - 1 up, bringing on a pair of fresh legs to go at an already suspect Barnsley defence, might have netted him another goal. Giving him just 10 minutes on the pitch just seemed a bit pointless IMO.
A great result, to put us 9th in the table on 61 points, and 4 points off a play off place! However, all the good work today will be wasted if we don’t kick on from this and have a great Good Friday by beating Preston away!
