Fake news mate.That is interesting.
Prison food.“For those that wish to enjoy our delicious pies without the inclusion of meat, a vegan version made with soya mince is also available.”
Haha. Nothing fake about it mate, you can see them make them at Arments. All on display. Raw meat in the pies, a spray of water over the top, then lids put on the pies. God know what goes on down in that dungeon where they make the pies at MankiesFake news mate.
I’ve seen those pavement pizzas along Tower Bridge RoadIt's so popular that it's gone on the road.
It’s all gone off. SE London civil war. Instigated by an outsider from west London.Pie and mash wars 2022 is in full swing.
Families split, relatives who will never speak again.
This can only escalate.
But arments pies are not the traditional ones ,don t know why you keep saying this , but I've been eating this gourmet meal for over 65 years and the only one shop to rival manzes was Joyce's in Tower Bridge Rd...they had gravy in them tooBut arments pies aren’t dry, they spray them with water before putting the lids on and they have all the juice from the meat in them. And anyway, even if they was dry, they’re not once you smoother them with liquor and vinegar!
It’s all sweet though, you stick with your cat food pies, leaves more traditional pie mash for us purists.
I’ll ask you one question, does gravy and vinegar go together? But arments pies are not the traditional ones ,don t know why you keep saying this , but I've been eating this gourmet meal for over 65 years and the only one shop to rival manzes was Joyce's in Tower Bridge Rd...they had gravy in them too
I feel a bit like Switzerland in all this, completely neutral, but I’ll happily hold your coats while you fight. It’s all gone off. SE London civil war. Instigated by an outsider from west London.
It does for me & a lot of others it seemsI’ll ask you one question, does gravy and vinegar go together?
It's a healthy debate ....dry or wet ? But what about the hot eels ?I feel a bit like Switzerland in all this, completely neutral, but I’ll happily hold your coats while you fight.
Wippa and myself have already arranged something for the new year. Will pm my team with details of the meat as and when but I warn you it's going to be messy, with a lot of old crusties spilling each other's gravy.cant you lot sort out a manzes mob and arments mob and have a punch up to sort it out lol, east end pie and mash for me
Do you put vinegar on your roast after putting gravy on?It does for me & a lot of others it seems
What a strange question , pie & mash is a different in all sort of ways , the amount of gravy involved is very small but it adds to the flavour , I suppose you have a dry roast dinner as wellDo you put vinegar on your roast after putting gravy on?
I’ve yet to discover dry liquor and vinegarIt's a healthy debate ....dry or wet ? But what about the hot eels ?
Ignore them they're only getting upset because they know arments is inferior in all waysWhat a strange question , pie & mash is a different in all sort of ways , the amount of gravy involved is very small but it adds to the flavour , I suppose you have a dry roast dinner as well
