My old man used to take me when I was a young kid he would keep a record of every game score attendance ect in this big log book,one regret I never carried it on would of been very interesting now looking back

First game ever was 12 November 1977 when I was in junior school, a friends mum and dad took 5 of us to Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur (Division 2 - Old money) 2-1 Spurs - had no real say tbh as it was his birthday treat.

However, my first Millwall match was 26 Oct 1985 v Portsmouth... not the best first match but it got me prepared for the long arduous grind of being a Wall supporter.

My first match was 1969 as well mate. I was 18 months old, my old man would do anything to get from my old dear .

That Exeter game, he took me Palace v Villa, team of the 80's against future European champions. I moaned all the way there, halftime scores come through and Wall are 5 up

Hurlock and Salman both turned out for Brentford.

Jan 15th 1972 v forest , fa cup went with my dad and 2 uncles wasn't really a fan till that day we won 3-1 and I got the bug and 51 years of ups and a lot of downs , I know if I had my life to lead again the one thing that would be the same is my support for the maddest but greatest club in football

Haha...What a night of highs and lows that was..



My first game was April 1966. Millwall vs Swansea (1-0).
I do remember I was lifted over the turnstile and if I remember correctly.
we won promotion that day, or maybe the game before (away at Mansfield).
Either way, a great start to my 'Wall journey.

My first game was against Plymouth Argyle in the 1957/8 season and started with a 1/0 home defeat. Since then I have always considered Plymouth as a bogey team for us.…..and who put an end to our unbeaten home run? Fuckin Plymouth!

First and only time at the old Den, was sometime in the early 70's, with my late Dad, his Uncle Bill, and cousin Tony. I think a couple more men were with them, but I was only a nipper back then.
Don't know who we played, but the only thing I can remember is that I was cold, and I think we won.

My first was late 1976. Not sure which game but I do remember my dad pointing out a new player Pat Sharkey and he only played in a handful of games. I thought he was rubbish but was in awe of Trevor Lee. I'm pretty sure we lost, but that really was of no consequence, I was hooked!
