Over a week since we parted company with GR. Surely this will be put to bed before Saturdays game?

No rush, we have 3 Saturday games coming up and then an International break, considering it is a contract worth over a million, it is worth taking your time over.

No mention of Eustace. We certainly don’t want Beale do we?

Wasn't a lot of talk of Rowett at this stage 4 years ago.
We would of loved to have had Beale just before he left QPR so perhaps he can learn from his mistakes since he left them.

Brum fan on radio this morning wouldn't have him back in a month of Sundays.

Surely there are managers out there who the club feel would do a good job which we have approached, not only in the UK & not only waiting hopefully for best of the rest. There are always those who do a good interview like any job, don't always mean there best for the job.

The sad thing is that Beale (even if we wanted him) wouldn’t get out of bed for that

If we are to believe there have been many applicants, we might have a new manager in just before the international break. The club are saying they're not in a rush to appoint, so the new man may come in after it.

Could be that if he still sees himself managing at a top club and realises he needs to start lower down in order to achieve that.
He won't be short of a few quid so I don't think he has to be ruled out just on wages.
So many unknowns at the moment, I feel we have to rely on Kavanagh's judgement.

perhaps he could jobshare with the Anoraks and get us both into Champions league by 2026.
We're way behind the Spotters. Their ambitions go beyond the Champions league which is small beer to a team of their stature. They have their eyes on the FIFA club world cup these days. Just as soon as they

Of course, they'll have to get next Saturday's big match against Bolton out of the way first....
