Roy Larner finally get his deserved recognition.

About fkg time. And he did it while the old bill sat in the safety of their cars nearby citing it being too dangerous a situation to get involved in. Well and truly deserved Roy. Legend 🦁
Was discussing this with Edward Alastair off here a few days ago. It was VC-level bravery.

Seems that Roy is to be presented with his award this Saturday, 20 minutes before KO.
He deserves as many as possible to be in their seats when it happens so if you are in the ground then please be in your seat for Roy, you can always go back to your beer afterwards.
I've been spreading the word on social media. Appreciated knowing that. Thanks P.

Cheers mate and thanks for being patient and understanding as to why we have held this back until now.

. Thanks again to all you lovely Lions that done there bit and wrote in on Roys behalf. Don't fuck with Millwall cause we love a fight be it with fists or the mighty pen.

Thanks again people. You're truly top notch :clap::clap::clap:

Been asked to pass on the below info
---------------------------------------------

The club will be presenting Roy and celebrating his Royal Humane Society Bravery award before the game Saturday circa 2.40pm. Lots going on but a great chance for Roy to be greeted by thousands of his 'family' at Millwall

If you get the chance please spread the word and encourage people to get in a little earlier if you can.

Presentation piss poor and Argyle felt the same. From their forum:
“I made certain I nipped in to see the presentation for Roy ‘I’m Millwall’ Larner and was a little disappointed. Roy was announced and walked onto the pitch. All fans in the ground at 2.40 clapped him but it was all over so quickly, it would have been nice if he walked around the ground so the fans could have given their appreciation more directly. It was a nice gesture, and I bet he enjoyed his day, but I think more could have been made of it. The Argo fans certainly would have given him a positive reaction had he walked past us (we even clapped their under 18s at half time which pales compared to taking on three armed terrorists)”

It was announced as 2.40. I was with 5 people and we left the Warrior 2.15 to be there in time for Roy. I was in the ground just in time then saw Edward Alastair who told me it was already over. Thought he was having me on but no. Gutted. Fortunately had Peckham's excellent company for the first half and another great win followed by a double double at Manzes TBR. All in all 9 out of 10.

I knew a few lads years ago who risked their lives to save some Irish people in NI, they got a mention in dispatches, they should have got a bravery medal too, this government are all up their own arses, and I mean all politicians, their mates get knighthoods and "sports stars" get awards for doing their jobs, what a load of bollocks. rant over, back to my darkened room now.
