You can't take much from pre-season games but it's interesting that he played Honeyman as a right wing-back. He could definitely play there and would offer a lot more going forward than Danny. I'm not sure how good he is one-on-one against a wide player but it's a different option.

I’ve heard good things about Malaki. Could be a good backup option for Bryan.

You can't take much from pre-season games but it's interesting that he played Honeyman as a right wing-back. He could definitely play there and would offer a lot more going forward than Danny. I'm not sure how good he is one-on-one against a wide player but it's a different option.

We just need someone on that right side that can actually whip in a decent cross, that gets past the first defender and into the box!

If that’s Danny (because he’s been practicing his crosses in training), then great! If not, time to look at someone else who might be able to step up to the plate!
