Nah, U21’s don’t count, it’s league games that matter (and the spotters know that!)

All it will do is make SE7 (the Yank consortium who own the spotters), force ‘Apples’ (as they’re supporters are calling Appleton their manager now ) to throw more of these U21 players into the first team, expecting the Lion tamers to make a difference by improving their league position!

It won’t, of course, because the U21’s that are in the first team now are no good, so no reason to think the next lot will be any better!

Actually been keeping half an eye on that league. Millwall have been doing really well and had only lost once prior to Bournemouth, so this 6-1 defeat is a shock to say the least. A good division to give our youth team a good kick about before some Premship team to come and cherry pick when they are ripe!
