We just don’t seem to do basics very well, just a simple one two, move into space and make a run. We never seem to be quick enough for second balls either. It’s ok trying to play it out from the back as it draws teams out to find space in the final third, we play it out from the back and never get in the final third, we always seem tense and that shows in the quality of passing, through balls and runs into space, sorry but you can only put it on the players so much, tactics, motivation and confidence has to come from the manager. The football we play is clumsy with only one option to pass where other teams have two or three. I want it to work with Edwards but I see no real change from where we was a year ago.
