Maybe they have some kind of face recognition to tell someone’s age. But you could get kids putting on a Groucho Marx moustache and glasses.

Bought my first pint at the Old Den when I was 14, from the kiosk at the back of the Cold Blow. Told the Doris serving it was for my Dad and she used good old fashioned common sense.
