1. Who'd have thought, reading some of our posts on here half way through the season, that we'd have a mathematical chance, with one game to go, to make the play-offs? But we have.
2. In Rowett, despite his naturally cautious approach to the game, we've got a decent manager who has built and developed a decent team with limited resources. Asides from against Fulham (who can keept £30m players on the bench) and maybe Swansea at home, we've not really been outplayed and even during the 2nd half of the Fulham game at the Den we ran them close and rattled them.
3. In Billy and Danny Mc we've got a couple of (hopefully) long-term gems with some decent looking young players coming through as well. The future of the squad looks good and if we can add one or two solid addition and be a bit more creative from midfield to get another 10 goals out of our strikers, we should look forward to another decent season next year. COYL!
AND 4....
We'll be playing Everton!
(Apologies for using that particular song title, it appears Mr Dury was a fan of the vermin)
