Not good enough
Hundreds of millions of reasons why they're doing so well. How many parachute payments has it taken Fulham before they've settled? It's what they spend trying to get there is the issue and part of our problem. Mitrovic was on £60k a week when Fulham were in the championship. How do we compete with that is the question.
The teams mentiioned didn't just wake up in that league, have a look into what they spent before asking why we can't at the moment. Aston Villa were one game away from going out of business. If they had lost the play off final they wouldn't exist now. That is what we're up against, see West brom and Norwich for other examples.
It can be done, Brentford have a system that works and we are trying to follow that but it takes time and dare say a lot of fortune is needed too.

It would help if we sold players for 0roper money, why do the likes of brentford sell there best players (when in the lower league) for tens of millions we sell for a packet crisp and a Mars bar
Because they are decent players and selling to premier sides will aways get you an over inflated fee. Who was the last player we have sold that was good enough for the premier?

Cahill probably, yonks ago 2004, a memorable year for some reason that escapes me. £1.5m to one of the bin dippers, laughable. IMHO

True 8 understand what your saying but going back historically we never get decent money teddy,cahill ect but when clubs are reported to be looking at our current players it always seems peanuts yet whe its other clubs youngster's in the same division they go for 10smillions
