Players Gone

Just had a tidy out, and found the Preston home programme from Feb 22, so from about a year ago, Rowett started a clear out as well, gone from that squad are Smith and Bod, who went in January, Kieftenbeld, Jed Wallace, Thompson, Sandford (gone?), Ojo, Pearce, Mahoney, Afobe, Olaoffe, Ballard, Topalloj, and future great Lovelace. Looking at our current squad, there is not many you would have back, Ballard yes, and maybe Wallace, but if a choice of Wallace or Fleming , no chance. Players like this and around that time Ryan Woods seem like a good idea, but don't compare to Fleming, Honeyman, Styles, Burke, Watmore, and Cresswell, way , way better players.

To be fair to Rowett, improvements all round in the squad, including Evans. Think we still need a tall striker although once again Bradshaw seems to be getting his nut on a few now.

Its a post like this that shows you just how well GR and JB have done. Yes there is still work to be done but its all going well as far as I can see.
Also hoping we start seeing more of Emakhu as a potential good young forward.
