It was a lovely sunny early season afternoon at Selhurst Park and we were standing just to the side of the goal.
I remember a fellow supporter picking up my young son and holding him up in the air in jubilation. He apologised to me after and I told him it was alright. I could understand his excitement.

My old man asked les years later did you mean it? Cant remember his answer
