Ok there's no train for London bridge from Hastings today, so I've hopped on the Victoria train so is there a train from east Croydon to South bermonsey??

Not an expert (Charlton supporter ) but suggest an option is get to East Croydon and then get a ‘stopper’ that goes directly to South Bermondsey.

There’s one that leaves East Croydon 14:53 arrives SB 14:31.

If the trains are fucked at east croydon then walk to west croydon and get the overground to either New cross or Surrey docks

Or go straight to Victoria then a train to Peckham then jump on the overhead( same platform) to Queens road or Surrey docks,

A thousand years ago King Harold and his merry men had a bit of a stroll from Stamford Bridge near York all the way down to Hastings just using a few ancient tracks and a bit of Roman cobble.

You can't even walk from Hastings to The Den.
