Think it’s obvious now that the likes of Hutch, Cooper etc. play better and are more assured with a competent goal keeper behind them (Saturday away to Boro with Sarkic), compared to Long last season (home to Blackburn) and Bart last night (home to Reading!)
The worry is, what happens if Sarkic gets injured (as he has before), Long has fucked off somewhere else and all we have left is Bart between the sticks?
So wished Rowett had looked at Trueman last night, if only just for the 2nd half!
Trueman has to be on the bench on Saturday!

Two things of note about both keepers last night.
1.Bart for Reading's 3rd was like watching Jordan Archer all over again.
2.Readings keeper looked like Predator.

His twin brother wasn't on top form, that's for sure.
I would have saved at least 2 of those goals and not just in my prime, but now!

Do you mean because he was fast, agile and dangerous?
Or was he just an ugly cunt?
Agreed I think we’ve tended to have very good keepers, even those who played a handful of games, Maik Taylor, Crossley, Nigel Spink, Willie Gueret (6 clean sheets in a row I think), Sansome, Brannagan and Davidson.
