Match thread Birmingham v Millwall KO 3pm

We dont deserve the play offs the way we played that game, pumping aimless long balls in the hope of a miracle. Rowett reverted to type with the same playerws and outcome, we never looked like we where going to score and dropping Billy Mitchell who was on form was disgusting.

We had so many defenders on the pitch they were getting in each others way and the reason they scored their first goal.

Beat Posh 4-0, Fulham do Utd 3-0 and its all down to the last game. As long as Boro fuck up somewhere.

Piss poor today though

Need the miracles of miracles to get in the playoffs but fucking hell imagine if the impossible is pulled off

repeat of Bristol Rovers away the season we beat Bradford in the playoff final would be nice

whatever happens would like to see a slight gamble investing in the transfer market in the summer, nothing mad just an extra 25% for one summer
We looked like we’d blown it that season when we lost 3-0 at home to Oxford.

Firstly, the ref and linos are a bunch of cunts.
I thought the first half showed us playing some really good football, with Bradshaw a real handful. Brums 2 fuckers, Taylor and that bum boy Bacon/Bacuna needed nailed, and I thought Dutch was there to do that job for us. Billy definitely should have started - if he was fit to play. It may have cut out the hit and hope balls and gave us a bit more creativity in midfield.
Really good to see Bennett and Burey coming on, but Tyler didn't get enough time to make a big difference.
Afobe was very quiet, but exonerated himself with the spot kick.
A hard fought for point.
Amazing hearing our travelling supporters. Safe journey home.
See you next week. COYL.

Is it me, or have Referees' and their Assistant s, given up applying the rules of the game particularly off the.ball in the penalty areas? It now seems like anything goes. Today's officials were intentionally toothless. They seemed to believe that any amount of foul play was o.k. So long as both teams did it about equally. It cuts no ice to argue that 2. Penalties were eventually given, what about the first hour of rough housing and mauling, which left unpunished, created the match circumstances for the artificial finale. Today's officials were woeful and spoiled a good game by lacking the courage to apply the rules. If you can't stand the heat, keep out of the kitchen. Perhaps we should send them back to school, and have some Rugby Union Refs tel them how it's done.
Time for the Suits at the F.A. to act and earn their corn.
