I’ll be interested to see the lineups the teams put out . If both teams field weakened sides it’ll make the League Ladders predictions a nightmare

Give the winners of the FA Cup a Champion league place instead of 4th place
At least they can say they are Champions unlike places 2, 3, & 4

That was in 2000. United were bullied into playing in some pointless competition where they failed to qualify from the group stage after they drew with some Mexicans.

I think the FA bullied them, as they were doing some major sucking in order to secure the World Cup.
