Cooper is never gonna get a pen, baffles me why he does the same thing every corner, let's himself get manhandled, why not go and stand on the keepers toes one corner, start your run from 10 yards outside the box the next corner, then stand at the front post fir the next, it ain't difficult to try something new, he has been completely ineffective at corners for 2 years!!!!

Another frustrating game. Have I missed a few rule changes? Is Shoving players in the back now classed as shoulder to shoulder? Is having an arm wrapped around you neck now just a bit of heavy petting? What about being behind a player with both arms round his waist and you knob between his arse cheeks, is that a foul or just acetable sexual public behaviour these days? And lastly a minnor one, blocking players at corners with no intention to play the ball. That sounds pretty much like a breach of the obstruction rule.

You forgot the one that if Cooper is within 2 foot of the keeper they get a free kick.

Basically, they're trying to take heading out of the game as much as they can without banning it. You can therefore do what you like when the ball is in the air and get away with it.
The one penalty we did get at WBA was for handball.

Maybe it's time to try a new tactic other then aim at Cooper. It's been ineffective for so long and the blame has to be with the management and Barrett in particular.
I did hope that Edwards would come in with some new ideas for set pieces but it just hasn't happened, unless it's still on his to do list!

The verdict on yesterday's Ref. Is fairly clear in relation to applying the Rules as we all seem to understand them. What if VAR was in operation? Same decisions?
Does anyone know if yesterday's Ref. has any Prem'shit/VAR pedigree ???

Few teams lately fizzed one to edge of box and created a shooting chance. More should be done to mix it up. Put cooper on near post, block keeper’s view of the ball

I'm not sure if the club would be allowed to, but why not stick a video camera man up the end we are attacking, and film in detail the pulling, holding etc at corners in detail. Then post it all over social media every week.

If you watch any Wall streams you will see close up shots of both teams in the penalty box, pushing and shoving each other, so maybe that could be used as a case against poor refs who don’t follow the rules when one of our players is held in a head lock that goes unnoticed?

Reading opposition supporters forums when we’ve played them, you can see how many of them bemoan poor ref decisions against them, so it’s not just happening to us. Maybe all of the Championship managers need to individually or collectively get at the refs association and make sure that these shit refs are held accountable for their poor decision makings? If there’s not enough complaints then nothing is going to be looked at.

When you think how much prize money there potentially is in securing a Championship play off spot (and maybe getting to the final, winning it and securing promotion), there’s a lot at stake, so refs have to be better than what they are. The same applies with dodgy decisions that can put teams into the relegation spots and potentially send them down. It’s simply not good enough when there’s millions of pounds of revenue at stake for those clubs in the mix.

If we ever git to the Prem, VAR would disallow all our goals and we'd be conceding an average of 7.285 penalties per game. Talk about an instrument to be able to determine the desired result for the chosen few.
