A much improved second half but a defeat courtesy of an early Hull goal.

We were on the back foot from the first whistle. They looked very lively and composed and we just sat off them a little and they took full advantage. They pushed the ball around with confidence and we were chasing shadows. It just looked a matter of time and there were only five minutes on the clock when they took the lead. There was an element of fortune about their goal. A raking long shot had Shark at full stretch. It came off the bar and fell luckily straight to their man in the box. He took one touch and rolled it into the corner and the keeper had no chance. We were shell shocked and it showed. We couldn’t pass water and it was very frustrating for us as we gave the ball away on countless occasions. They were looking like Barcelona and we looked like Dagenham and Redbridge. We did have one long throw which came to nothing and it took us a good 30 minutes before we began to come into it. A corner just before half time ended with a foul,in the box and that was as close as we got. On the plus side despite their total dominance of the ball Shark did not have one save to make. Mind you, we didn’t have a shot either.

Second half needed changes and Tom came on for Oba who had hardly touched the ball from the start. It was clear that Bradshaw would make a difference and he ran and pressed from the whistle. We started to come into the game and it was clear that they were a little rattled. From total dominance they realised they had a game on their hands. We were much better in possession and held onto the ball with much more conviction. Fresh legs were needed and off came Murray and Sav to be replaced by Honeyman and Joe. We looked a different team, full of running and purpose. There were some excellent passages of play with Flem involved in much of our play. There was a clever ball from Honeyman to Flem but it came to nothing. We huffed and puffed and pressed well but just couldn’t fashion a chance. Late on Esse replaced Watmore and we tried really hard to get back into it but the ball wouldn’t quite fall for us in the box. Right at the death a chance fell to Tom but the keeper saved well and they needed up with a narrow win.

Shark had very little to do other than pick the ball out of the net following their only goal. BNC had a shocker and will want to forget this game completely. Wes had a blip but Tango and Cooper were solid. Murray was aggressive but ran out of gas after about 60. Sav had some moments but was half crocked late on and Casper too had some moments. Watmore was anonymous and Oba really didn’t get into the game. MOM was Flem who was fully involved and committed and played well. Tom ran his heart out, Joe and Honeyman had some good moments and Esse made some decent passes.
We didn’t quite have the quality to nick a goal,in the second half but we came close. There were promising moments but sadly, no goal.

VAR would have chalked their goal off, in saying that, it's us and that ain't a paranoid conspiracy theory, so what what was the ref thinking because he was in a good position to see it and running in that direction?.

Still a bad showing for at least 60. minutes or more.

Thanks Silver, not sure how we won those three games on the trot. We’d be in an even worse state without those nine points

Yep 👍 I posted elsewhere that their goal would have been chalked off for handball.

We are bang in trouble. QPR won today and now the gap is five points.

We can't score or even show any attacking intent at all. We used to at least be a threat at set-pieces but not of late. Add to that a penchant for conceding comical goals and that all adds up to us struggling.

Long trip and again millwall never turned up as an attacking treat, on the back foot for most of the first half but with a few changes we were at least competitive in the 2nd half, caught out over playing in our own half for the only goal and we just have not got the skill set at the moment to play this way we have lost our identity as a football team and are not one thing or another, cannot see how mom was Fleming as only Bradshaw when he came on looked up for it...let's be honest we are being dragged into the relegation battle through how own fault ....must win games against Wednesday & Rotherham now and hope we get something from Coventry ,Ipswich & Southampton but don t hold your breath, it's great fun being a lions fan

I think we can beat Ipswich as they are on a bit of a slide atm. Lost to Maidstone and Preston yesterday. We need Obafemi and Bradders up top and catch them on the break as they play such a high line (up to the halfway line) so susceptible to their pace.

You saying for handball? Because I thought exactly the same

Agree about mom. I thought honey did more than flemming the time he was on. I thought flemming should score that lob. Why we lose games, not clinical enough

VAR would chalk every fkg goal off we score if we ever got to the Prem which we won't under this cnut. Wake up people. What is it you all like about this clown? I don't see it and never have
