Last defender we got off Fulham was Hutchinson, that didn't go too bad. Spoke to a Fulham fan at the gym yesterday and he said Bryan has been replaced by a young more athletic player from the States. Still has something to offer at our level and he's free.

I read he was 29 years old with 200 odd Championship games behind him and has also played in the Premiership. Lots of experience. So I think he will add quality to the squad. Cost Fulham £6M apparently and he is on a free!
Leaves money in the budget for more signings hopefully.

Im sure he was on loan at French club Nice last season, plenty of experience with a very decent left peg.

I think Joe Bryan is a great signing,should still be good for 3 years for us what ever division we are in.It also means we have a good back up in Murray Wallace who can also fight for a CH place with Coops and Hutch
