Went down yesterday. Like the original post I would urge anyone who can possibly get to The Den to do so, it’s very touching to see how much JB was adored not only by us but by the every day staff that work at the ground.

I must have walked in and out if that stadium hundreds if not thousands of times in the last 30 years and I thought I’d experienced every emotion. Joy, heartache, disappointment, anger, sheer jubilation etc but what I felt yesterday just hit different. I think the manager and team are due to visit in the coming days and I’m sure it will be a tough moment for all of them, the sense of loss around the place is palpable. Hopefully the hurt we are all feeling at the moment will translate into warm memories and a fierce determination to do justice to the legacy of this exceptional man.
