Why is this club so shit at producing them.even ones who supposed to be promising end up doing fuck all.lovelace might be the next harry kane but he should be at school not shivering on the bench in blackburn on a tuesday night.is that telling us our u23 strikers are crap and if so should be released

Perhaps it is the same of all youngsters regardless of positon, we are way down the list when it comes to signing schoolkids, those that show promise at a young age go to one of the many bigger London clubs or like Lovelace probably will, get signed by one of the bigger clubs before he is of any use to us.
The youth system has changed a lot since all the premiership money has come into the game.
I think we are right to channel our money into the first team.

In real terms we produce very few genuine first team players, with the odd exception. Fitzgerald would have been let go years ago at any other club. Our youth coaching/ coaches are nowhere near good enough. Too many jobs for the boys.
