Aidomo Emakhu could be a doubt for Millwall’s Championship match at Stoke City this weekend.

The Irish striker, 19, made his debut for the Lions in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw against Burnley.

Emakhu, signed from Shamrock Rovers in the January transfer window, came into the squad after Oliver Burke was ruled out due to illness.

But now the same problem has prevented the Republic of Ireland U19 international from training today.

“Aidomo rang in and said he is ill,” Lions boss Rowett told the South London Pressthis morning.

We do it seems have the knack of siging sick notes ,let's hope it's a cold or something and not an injury

It's probably Covid and the EFL regulations probably mean the club have to be careful with the message they put out.

Probably caught it off Burke!

That rowett quote rings alarm bells. Feels he is far from impressed - and has not seen the fella or had staff give him a once over. Got to say he was about the only (half hearted) forgettable thing about tuesday night. If he is not for real lets not let him linger
