I was watching the lead up to the Welsh game against the Czech Republic at the weekend on Sky. The presenter was eulogising over the ‘anti racist’ t-shirts they were wearing and then added further that on the back of the shirts were the words.
“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist”. Angela Davis.
Footballers and managers tell us that there is nothing political about their kneeling campaign, its just about anti discrimination, nothing at all to do with Marxism or defunding the police. Nothing at all, honestly.
In the past Angela Davis has accepted the Communist Party USA’s nomination for Vice President. She received less than 0.02% of the vote.
She has been a major figure in the campaign for the abolition of police and prisons. One critic wrote this about her.
“Davis has a long record of support for political violence in the United States and the worst of human rights abusers abroad”.
I don’t know if the Welsh FA and players are naive or just plain f’kin stupid but they’ve just blown apart their pretence of moral superiority. I wonder who was responsible for that piece of virtue signalling shit?
