I think he has more potential than Esse, which is a compliment to him rather than a criticism of Esse, albeit both are exciting prospects
Spoke to Fitz at the club dinner and he said he was very impressed with Emakhu. He said he was quick, posed a threat and tracked back well. He has certainly looked good when he comes on. Trouble is he doesn’t have a magic wand and there is little point on putting the lad on with ten to go and expect that he could turn a game. On the evidence of his U 21 appearance then maybe he could.
I do like the move he makes down the left when he pushes the ball down the line, gets right to the byline and then pulls it back. He works very well against tiring defenders and maybe he is worth a starting spot. Who knows? Whatever, he does look a good prospect and there could be good things to come from him this season.

I think Emakhu is more further forward in his development, probably age thing. Needs to be played to his strengths, bit of space to work in would suit him. He now needs more game time hopefully not through someone else’s injury. Needs to do what it looks like he’s gonna be good at. Rattling defenders and hitting the onion bag. Defenders hate pace quick feet and being turned. Might be a gem. Odd feign be nice too.

Unfortunately, GR (like Southgate) doesn’t have the courage to drop a “star” who’s out of form
