Birmingham City can confirm they will not appeal the red card shown to Lukas Jutkiewicz in Tuesday night's Carabao Cup tie.​

The striker, following a challenge between him and an opposition player, was sent off by the referee in the 56th minute of the Second Round match against Cardiff City.

Resultantly, the 34-year-old will serve a three-game suspension, missing upcoming Sky Bet Championship games against Millwall, Watford and Preston North End.
