Ayresome.was a nasty place. Surrounding streets very dodgy. Even as a seaman you had to be careful in the pubs and clubs. Always preferred drinking in "The Puddle" (West Hartlepool).

Went there twice, had to have your wits about yer. Four of us went up in a hire car once, didn’t realise it had fry’s of Lewisham emblazoned across the the rear window until we were walking to the ground.
Can’t believe it still had wheels on it when we returned.

Not my favourite hunting ground that place. Walked into an ambush once by OB, got a bottle smashed over my peanut on another occasion. Some cunt done me from behind with a metal dustbin on another occasion and i've been nicked twice up there. Other than that i can highly recommend it

What i will say about them is they're much like us in many aspects. Tough industrial area, love there football and not bothered about numbers when it comes to a tear up.

All depends on who they’re replacements are and whether they want to show Carrick that now they’ve been given their chance, they’re going to take it and force him to not drop them!
