I thought Leonard had a tough job tonight but did it very well. Cooper and Obafemi did very well too but Billy was the absolute nuts. He was everywhere closing things down, set Longman free (with a forward pass

Another one getting grief on a regular basis but little praise or recognition when it's due. His speed and agility kept us in the game tonight and i very much doubt that any 37 year old could match him for that. So i'll say it,,,,,,, Bart wouldn't have saved that. There you go i feel better now

Covered every inch last night and still going right to the end. When that cross came in he was outside the 6 yard box but had got back onto the line to clear the header. Might not be the most gifted but has some heart.

Big saves from Sarkic and his kicking was a big improvement on Saturday - don't think any of his kicks went straight out.

Had a hand in two of my fave goals, the one from last night and the 2-4 win away v Preston, defence splitting pass for Danny Mac and two quick feet from Flemming to score.
Needs to do that more often as he does 'have it' in his locker, a bit more self belief perhaps!?.

watch the previous 2 games absolutely dire , not called Billy back.pass for nothing........gives 100% but not an ounce of creativity in his game , while we have no strikers the midfielders have to step up but the majority don t have that in theirl loc kyer
Fucking hell Phil - what happened to you are only as good as your last game, bit of generosity of spirit wouldn’t go adrift here, It wouldn’t hurt to say he played well last night.
His pass sent Longman on his way, surely that qualifies as creative, as by definition it created the opportunity for the goal.
It doesn’t have to be so binary, he can have good days and bad days like all of us, and I’d take a Billy Mitchell over Liam Trotter (as an example) every day of the week for my Millwall.

Even when we have been poor Billy has kept going, I think he’s still improving, i’d like to see him get 6/8 goals a season but a real team man, him and Leonard have been the best this season and the keepers growing on me

Since when did giving 100% become not enough? That's all we've ever asked isn't it?
Also, his job is a defensive midfielder. He's not in there to create loads of chances, that's simply not his game. He's in there to hassle and break up play, keep the ball and give it to someone who can create.
