Got to say I find it difficult to dislike the fella comparing him to what’s gone before. Decent man (but far too woke for my personal liking), and has got us to World Cup Semi Final and Euros Final at a time when the EPL has seen a massive decline in English players. Not his fault he got the job, and he’s blooded young talent whereas previously they picked reputations only. Alkardyce’s one game said “who am I to tell Wayne Rooney where to play”.
