Any of you lads going Bournemouth?

Just booked two nights at the Bamboo B&B on Terrace Road.

Traveling down Friday afternoon, back home Sunday night,

£27 all in - plus free use of cruet, but you are advised to take your own toilet roll.

Okay, it's a shared bathroom with the rest of the rooms, but I'll be keeping away from solids come Friday lunchtime.

How do I get from Terrace Road to Dean's Court? Is it walkable or do I need to jump on a bus?

Hoping to find a bit if action Saturday night.

There always seems to be an abundance of slappers from Balham in Bournemouth, no idea why...... perhaps the bracing sea air.

Getting more excited by the day!

You are a fair way from the ground where you are but there is a Wetherspoons literally 2 minutes from you so congratulations on choosing your accomadation so wisely, breakfast and a pint at 9am on the day of the game is the stuff of legends.
Will probably be over a fiver in a cab for the game but no doubt you will be able to find three others to share it with you so £1.50 each and a tip for the driver!!
Last time I was down there there were slosh buckets aplenty during the night time but as I have forgotten to wear my best loafers and the Mrs was with me the locals were denied spending a night to remember with my good self.
Knock 'em bambi and have a ball!!

I'm disappointed that you'd been side tracked by your foray in Ukraine, to not have one of your legendary trips planned for for the last game of the season. Submarines, Chinooks, roller blades.....gawd knows what you'd have come up with this year.

And really disappointed that nobody tipped me off about the abundance of ladies of low standards, populating the resort.... wouldn't have minded a bit of a paddle in a strange tuna canoe.

Thanks for the invaluable info, mate.

Good news about the Spoons - where would you rate it on the 'sticky- carpet-meter' on a scale of 1 - 10?

I find the very sticky ones a godsend after eight pints of Abbot; if you feel a bit of a wobble on and your shoes are stuck solid, no way are you going to hit the deck!

Last time in the Shakespeare, I asked for Eggs Benedict - ended up with fried eggs on toast and a glass of Benedictine. Think the customer facing roles could be improved.

Definitely a 9 out of ten for stickiness ,every stride is like velcro tape, I would recommend downloading the app to order your drinks and food to save your legs, especially after you've had a few as a lot of the clientele can be cunts and laugh when you take a tumble or piss yourself when going on a hike to the toilets.

'9 out of ten for stickiness'

That's exactly the same score I gave a girl from Wuppertal in Cala Millor, 1969.

Could be a lucky omen.

No mate, you're correct! It is a 12.30 kick off.

It's going to be a bit of a task having the full English followed by a gallon of Broadside.

What time do Wetherspoon's open?

Yes there’s a ‘3’ in it! 😉
Roar the mighty Lions on mate and dream the dream. Anything is possible if you believe it can happen. 🤞

Yes mate, cometh the hour cometh the man.

I'm packing my Speedos in case the weather takes a turn for the better.

I bought them in 1976; they're the Jet Stream, Red Maple Leaf design the Canadian swimming team wore at Montreal.

Admittedly, a bit snug, but they always bring admiring glances from the ladies.

Admirable, Paris..... just be careful that the Border Force don't spot you on the beach, and commandeer you as a deterrent to make any illegals turn back.
The combined threat of being flown to Africa, along with landing in close proximity to you in your budgie smugglers, may just be too much...... although as a bonus, Priti Patel would put a photo of you in your beachwear on her desk.

The sight of Paree donning his Speedos will have the beach babes drooling and could cause serious gushing. ;)

paree, i have a pair of speedos you can have, lightly worn, but the 's' has fell off, see how you go with them

Don't joke about that sort of thing, mate.

In the late 1990s I got thrown out of the Swiss Cottage Baths for exactly that same thing.

The 'S' got sucked down the filter gully - one of the mum's reported me to the Lifeguard and I was escorted off the premises and given a ban of 50 years.

Life imitating art.
