Ever support anyone else?

Quite simply did any of you support a different club for ANY reason before Millwall? I know 70s did and makes no secret. I was Hibs as a kid as I lived a stones throw away in Leith. It's not intended as a dig, I just wondered. I'll confess to Leyton Orient when I moved to London until my first Wall game in 74.

Nope, first Wall game when I was around 7 and that has been that for me, my poor boy is suffering as much as me as I took him to his first game when he was 4😂

Supporting a different team might be too strong a term as I never went to any games but as a kid I seem to change allegiances from week to week. I even dabbled with that team from across the river for a short time. (I feel dirty now). i remember having a fondest for Carlisle at one point as I felt sorry for them as they were bottom of div one at the time.

I knew about Wall as my cousin had started going in the late 70’s, but being a bit of glory hunter I was more of a Liverpool fan. I then went to my first Wall game at 14 in 83 and it has only ever been Wall ever since

Never supported another club, but I do look out for the results of a few different clubs …Port Vale, Atletico Bilbao and Torino

No. First game 1953!

Always check AFC Wimbledon’s results after following, initially via the South London Press, their progress from trials on Wimbledon Common, through the lower leagues to where they are now 👍

Man Utd after the Munich air crash. First visit to Millwall in 1960 as a 10 year old changed all that. Been suffering ever since 😄

In my junior school all the kids were Tottenham fans so for a while I didn't want to be singled out and all that. My dad was never into football so never took me at all. After I left school all my mates were 'Nigels' and went to a few games but I felt empty and even knew back then that they were all wrongens. Then mid 80's I started hanging around with my cousin and his mates who were all Millwall and went to the old Den first game against Portsmouth and got pumped 4 nil if I remember rightly but I knew then with the crowd and atmosphere... I was home. And I've been mentally scarred ever since.

Born and raised in Leith would you believe.

Used to Support Fulham with my Dad as we lived in West Kensington, we moved away when I was 8, but carried on supporting them, when I was 13 I spent a summer with my Nan in Epsom and my Uncles on mums my side, whom hated my Dad took me to See Wimbledon VS Millwall at Plough Lane in 1985,the atmosphere in the away end was like nothing I had experienced, have followed Wall ever since 🙂

Never occurred to me to follow another club. Two lads I played football with, both lived on where the The Den is now situated followed West Brom and Spurs.
As they got older both saw the light and began following Millwall.

No never...
Although when I was young, I did go to The Valium from time to time. All my dads side were 'Wall, but my mum's side were mostly Spotters. If Wall were away, my dad would go to an occasional Charlton game with my uncle and I would sometimes be taken along.

That was back in the 60's and as far as I can remember, rivalry was light hearted back then because of the close proximity of the clubs and the same socialising areas. Also, a lot of people knew each through working locally together. I went a couple of times in the early 70's as well (with Spotter friends).

Funny thing though, two of my cousins are Spotters and they still have a soft spot for Millwall after all these years. Their dad would go to 'Wall with my dad and they would tag along.
