Yes, but we once got relegated with 54 pointsAlready told you all on Saturday that the tide is 47 to go down. 48 for safety.

But they cant because 3 teams below us play each other, forget the others. Rotherham are down so only 2 other teams are needed to fill the remaining two places. I have assumed they would win at least 2 of their remaing games. The worst senario is we rely on goal difference. If all the teams below us (except Rotherham) won their remaning games, we could still go down with 50 points, I think. We could still go down with 51, given that losing our three games, and Brum winning theirs would alter the GD in their favour. However, it's obviously very unlikely indeed that this scenario would happen in real life.
Stoke 56
QPR 56
Blackburn 55
Plymouth 54
Huddersfield 53
Wednesday 53
Brum 51
Millwall 50
Rotherham (down already)
92 points will get you promoted, 74 will get you in the play offs and less than 47 will get you relegated...probably!I'm more interested to know what'll happen next season while we are in the Championship.
So please do a calculation with corresponding charts, graphs, and what-if analysis for next seasons 552 matches please.
We,ll just. Have to settle for 92 then92 points will get you promoted, 74 will get you in the play offs and less than 47 will get you relegated...probably!

Have you accounted for lucky charms carried by supporters such as lucky heather, ferret feet and a four leaf clover?I have taken that into account. Where I have given a team maximum points, I have then allowed the defeated team a maximum of six points from their remaining three fixtures.
Didn't know Gillingham were in the pictureHave you accounted for lucky charms carried by supporters such as lucky heather, ferret feet and a four leaf clover?
I like your thinking. It's a very good point!'d prefer someone like Plymouth to stay up as I believe they'll be one of the weakest teams in the division next season, so thinking strategiclly there should only be 2 more relegation places at stake with them still in the divison imo
No, you have misunderstood, we only have the one season to get 92 points, it isn't this and next seasons added together. We,ll just. Have to settle for 92 then
