Quotes from the Charlton no life forum

Cost them 3.5m in 2002, played 13 games and then retired through injury.
Rumour has it, he tripped over a flask and a pile of tartan rugs saved him from hitting his head on the concrete but his knee missed the rugs.

His staying away from home was a factor in his leaving so to come back for a club in a mess is difficult to believe, I would of thought there would of been a more suitable job to come along by the summer.
He did say he wanted to spend more time at home and wanted to get christmas and the new year out of the way before he considers taking another job.
He has had a couple of months now and taking the Charlton job can't be too bad can it?, three years money for six to nine months work is a no brainer:D

Would he be prepared to be a Millwall legend and take them down?

Looks like the Haters arms is now a pop up pub in 'Into the valley', someone saying they are a Millwall fan saying how useless Rowett is, apparently he was lucky to get us as high as he did.

If it is the same fellow, 'Millwall Fan' is a regular on No Life. In fact, he spends a lot of time on there and is quite tight with a few of them. Of course, it might be someone signing up to 'Into the Valley ' and playing silly bollocks usung his No Life username.

Not noticed the person on there before but I do go months without looking.
Telling them Rowett isn't good enough for them made me laugh, we had all those top half finishes despite having Rowett in charge, clueless.

A recent post from someone else said

Replace Andy Scott with Steve Brown then go down on bended knee to bring Chris Powell back, our next manager needs to know the club and the fan base.

It won't take too long to get to know the fan base on a personal level, they could get someone in on a part time basis to do that.

The 'MillwallFan' I was talking about is often on CL posting.
Maybe the poster on ITTV is a different 'MillwallFan'?

Sorry, but Rowett didn’t carry us. He got lucky that the 4 seasons we finished as high as we did was more down to how poorly the Championship was during that period.

Compare then to this season, where stronger teams from the Premiership came down, and decent teams like Ipswich came up from league 1. There are also other teams in our division that have wealthy owners who splashed the cash during the summer to improve their squads and they are reaping the benefits from that. Even though we ourselves strengthened the squad in the summer, buying the Belgian Casper De Norre in midfield (who has turned out to be a good buy) but the likes of left back Joe Bryan and striker Kevin Nisbet have flattered to deceive.

In Rowett’s 11 games in charge this season, we won 4, drew 3 and lost 4 (and of those 4 losses, 3 were at home - 2 of which were 3-0 drubbings by Leeds and Swansea). We also lost 4-0 at home under Rowett to a second string Reading side in the Carabao Cup. We never recovered from that poor start and our new manager, Joe Edwards has had to come in and do his best to change the mindset of the players and get them playing better, more free flowing football. It’s taken a while but he’s getting there and serial centre half lumpers like Jake Cooper and Shaun Hutchinson can now actually play the ball out from the back with relative ease. Something Rowett never tried to instill in them.

Our new chairman, James Berylson, has allocated funds for two loan signings in this window, the lad from Spurs, centre half Japhet Tanganga and striker Michael Obafemi from Burnley, and today we have bought (for around £1 million including add ons) the 19 year old left winger from Morecambe, Adam Mayor. Hopefully these 3 players, with their pace and youth, will help us create more chances to push us up to a mid table finish in the Championship. Unfortunately, Rowett never realised the need for pace and athleticism in his Millwall side, but Joe Edwards does, and that’s the difference between the two managers. Edwards is progressive and forward thinking whilst Rowett is backwards in his thinking, sticking to dinosaur tactics and play.

Thank God he’s gone.

Yes, it is a sad read and it's even sadder that he has to spout shit on a Spotters forum.

🙄

I know bookies odds aren't at all anything to go by at the early stages but when it's publicly known who has had one or two interviews they tend to tell a story.
Today Rowett has gone from 2nd to 3rd favourite from 2/1 to 5/1 and Warnock from 8/1 to 2/1.
I'd love to see Warnock's last job in football be one of relegation.

And release them of all their funds in the process

Colin's bubble (the relegation saviour) has to burst at some point.
There's no better time and place than SE7.

What a pile of wank. He didn't explain that when Rowett walked we were in a higher position than the season before after the same amount of games.

What type of schlong spends his time posting on another teams forum, anyway? Sad cunt.

Seems that Nathan Jones has dropped further than he ever thought he might have to and is going to be the new manager.
Pity as he should save them from Div.4
All we can do is hope the club is in such a mess that no one is capable of turning it around.

The weirdos will all be stalking him online soon.
